In the heart of Solothurn’s historic old town, a space has been created that blends beauty, tranquility, and aesthetics. Under the conceptual title “The Sculpted Space,” the new Art of Beauty Cosmetic Store & Studio was conceived as a deliberately shaped space – like a three-dimensional composition of light, color, material, and function.

The focus of the project was on the interior design of the beauty studio with an integrated store: custom-made display shelves, a clearly positioned counter, and a separate beauty area on a raised platform for manicures and pedicures. Each element was spatially designed not only to fulfill a function but also to be part of a calm, flowing overall composition.

The interior design is deliberately monochromatic and harmonious. Warm tones, soft materials, and gentle transitions create an atmosphere that leaves room for inner contemplation. The store serves as a counterpoint to the hectic everyday life outside – a retreat where slowing down and self-care take center stage.

The interplay of clean lines, soft materials, and warm light creates a holistic spatial experience. “The Sculpted Space” describes not only the design but also the feeling: interior architecture that actively supports the well-being of customers and makes beauty a tangible spatial experience.
